How Zenimax Management and Bizarre Marketing Decisions Hurt Fallout 76 (THEORY on why FO76 is Bad)

18:11
Link to my Twitter: https://twitter.com/VinylicPuma What's up guys! Back with another Controversial Fallout video but today, I figured I would give you guys my theory as to why Fallout 76 is bad, a disappointment and is just being so poorly received. As you may have guessed based on this videos title, a lot of it I think comes down to Zenimax Management and Bizzarre Marketing Decisions that have been made. Now it's worthy to point out that this is mostly conjecture, guesses and speculative on my part as to why Fallout 76 is in the position it's in,, hence why i'd call it a theory. So I suppose you should take some of what I have to say with a grain of salt. As always though, if you liked this video, feel free to leave a like and let me know what you think! Stakeholder theory

06:44
The stakeholder theory is a theory of organizational management and business ethics that addresses morals and values in managing an organization. It was originally detailed by R. Edward Freeman in the book Strategic Management: A Stakeholder Approach, and identifies and models the groups which are stakeholders of a corporation, and both describes and recommends methods by which management can give due regard to the interests of those groups. In short, it attempts to address the "principle of who or what really counts". In the traditional view of a company, the shareholder view, only the owners or shareholders (= stockholders) of the company are important, and the company has a binding fiduciary duty to put their needs first, to increase value for them. Stakeholder theory instead argues that there are other parties involved, including employees, customers, suppliers, financiers, communities, governmental bodies, political groups, trade associations, and trade unions. Even competitors are sometimes counted as stakeholders - their status being derived from their capacity to affect the firm and its stakeholders. The nature of what is a stakeholder is highly contested (Miles, 2012), with hundreds of definitions existing in the academic literature (Miles, 2011). This video is targeted to blind users. How to support Research with Theoretical and Conceptual Frameworks

05:20
Supporting Research with Theory I was asked: “how do you support your study relationship based on a theoretical or conceptual framework?” This video gets you to think about … 1) Is your question about a particular theory? 2) Is theory used to justify your question? 3) Is theory used to organize your findings? 4) Is your research about generating a new theory? 5) Is theory useful to explain the context or researcher stance? 6) Is a conceptual framework needed? Leadership and Decision Making by Dr. Victor Vroom of Yale School of Management

01:23:38
For several decades, Professor Victor H. Vroom and his colleagues at Yale University have been doing research on leadership styles. This research has been driven by two objectives. The first objective was to explore the differences in leadership styles used in different countries and organizations around the world. Where did these differences come from and how are they changing with globalization? The second objective was is to build a normative or prescriptive situational model of the leadership process which can serve as a guide to leaders in adapting their leadership styles to the challenges they face. To date, Professor Vroom's research has involved a quarter of a million leaders from around the world. It has also produced a computer-based normative model of leadership called Expert System, designed to aid managers in matching their styles to other specific challenges they face. In this Webinar, you will learn the following: •The changes in leadership necessary in a knowledge economy •The situational factors that you need to consider in choosing an effective style to lead in your organization About the Speaker: Dr. Victor H. Vroom holds the BearingPoint Chair of Management at Yale University's School of Management. He is the author of nine books and over eighty articles dealing with motivation, leadership, and decision making. Several of his books are regarded as landmarks in their field and have resulted in awards from the Academy of Management, the American Psychological Association, the McKinsey Foundation, and the Ford Foundation. Professor Vroom has also served as a consultant to many government agencies and to over 100 major corporations in the United States and abroad. 13 Scariest Theories That'll Make Your Blood Run Cold

11:17
Where did we come from? Where are we headed? What is our world? Are we alone in the universe? When the mental gears really start moving, people can come up with theories that are downright terrifying! In this video, you'll learn about 13 of the scariest theories that’ll make you question everything you thought you knew about your reality. TIMESTAMPS: The Great Filter 1:28 Higher dimensional beings 2:33 False Vacuum 3:23 We're living in a black hole 4:10 White Holes 4:50 The Multiverse Theory 5:25 Brain in a Vat 6:03 Roko's Basilisk 6:48 The Transcension Hypothesis 7:21 The Terror Management Theory 8:00 The Sixth Mass Extinction 8:35 The Fermi Paradox 9:17 The Simulation Theory 10:00 Music: https://www.youtube.com/audiolibrary/music SUMMARY: - According to The Great Filter theory, somewhere out there exists a Great Filter. The main purpose of this Filter is to stop those civilizations that advance to the level of star colonization. - What if a 4D being was looking at you from their four-dimensional world? Just like a 2D person, you wouldn't be able to notice this creature in your 3D world. - The False Vacuum theory says that our universe exists in a false phase state, which means that it's just a temporary thing. What's more, it's only a small part of a larger universe. - You’re probably well-aware that black holes suck in everything around them. But what happens to the stuff it engulfs? What if a black hole already swallowed us up long ago? Surprisingly, some physicists deem this theory pretty plausible. - While black holes engulf all matter so that even light can’t escape, white holes are quite the opposite. These formations are believed to spit out everything that black holes suck in. - The Multiverse theory claims that there might be countless other realities besides our own. - The Brain in a Vat theory says that you very well could just be a brain in a jar. Something is feeding you false impulses, and you're hallucinating your whole life and reality. - Roko's Basilisk is a hypothesis that some future super-powerful artificial intellect can retroactively punish people who struggled against it in the past (which is our present) or even those who did nothing to help bring it about. - The Transcension Hypothesis states that a civilization eventually gets to a certain intellectual level. - According to the Terror Management theory, everything we do comes from the fear of death. Our wishes and motivation are based on just one thing, and it’s the idea that one day we will stop existing. - The Sixth Mass Extinction theory is probably the most horrifying. Yet, unfortunately, it’s the most probable scenario. Some biologists believe that humanity is headed for or already passing through the sixth mass extinction - The Fermi Paradox theory explains why we probably wouldn't recognize an advanced alien civilization even if it was right under our nose. - According to the Simulation theory, we all live in an incredibly complex computer game. #spacefacts #blackhole #greatfilter Subscribe to Bright Side : https://goo.gl/rQTJZz ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Our Social Media: Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/brightside/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/brightgram/ 5-Minute Crafts Youtube: https://www.goo.gl/8JVmuC ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For more videos and articles visit: http://www.brightside.me/

POLITICAL THEORY - John Maynard Keynes

11:18
John Maynard Keynes was arguably the greatest economist of the 20th century. He discovered the idea that governments should stimulate demand during economic downturns – and was the creator of both the IMF and the World Bank. His ideas continue to underpin a lot of the modern economic system. Support Stated Clearly on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/statedclearly Students who may be disinterested or uncomfortable with the science of evolution often wonder why it is worth their time and effort to understand. Stated Clearly and Emory University's Center for Science Education have joined forces to create this animation addressing these concerns. The discovery of biological evolution is among the most significant scientific findings of the last 200 years. It has lead us to thousands of new discoveries and is greatly expanding our understanding of the natural world. Here we look at 3 mysteries which were solved by using Darwin's theory of evolution. The understanding we have gained is having a dramatic impact on food security, disease control, and environmental conservation. Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs

02:48
support us at: www.patreon.com/sprouts Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs is a theory in psychology. It argues that there are five stages of human needs that motivate our behaviour. Abraham Maslow proposed his theory in 1943 after studying what he called exemplary people such as Albert Einstein or Eleanor Roosevelt. STAGE 1 First there are physiological needs, such as the need to breathe, eat, drink or sleep. The moment we got enough of that and we feel awake and our bellies are full, we get motivated by the next thing. STAGE 2 Now we want safety. We try to earn money, build up resources and look for shelter that protects us against dangers. Once we are satisfied and feel safe, we have time to think about what we want next. STAGE 3 At stage three we seek love and belonging. We desire to be close to family and friends, belong to a society or join a gang. But the moment we feel completely part of a group we already wish to be a little different than the rest. At stage four we look for esteem, self-confidence and respect from our peers. We want to be someone. If we have money, we buy a fancy watch. If we have a brain, we write or think or work a lot. Motivation to perform and compete is now at its highest. Students, sportsmen and inventors excel. Neil Armstrong even flew to the moon. STAGE 5 nly if we breathe, and drink and eat and sleep enough and we feel safe and part of a group and still special, only then we can reach level five: self-actualisation. Now we can relax, be creative, accept facts for what they are, give back or do whatever we want. No more pressure, unless of course there is trouble below. If you are leader and believe in the theory, use it. First make sure everyone has eaten well. Then make them feel safe and help them belong to a group. Once they feel they belong, they are ready to stand out and excel.

What is systems thinking? by Peter Senge, Author of The Fifth Discipline

01:09
Peter Senge is a Senior Lecturer in Leadership and Sustainability at the MIT Sloan School of Management. The Journal of Business Strategy (September/October 1999) named Senge one of the 24 people who has had the greatest influence on business strategy over the last 100 years. The Financial Times (2000) named him one of the world’s top management gurus, andBusinessWeek (October 2001) rated Senge one of the top 10 management gurus. Senge has lectured extensively throughout the world, translating the abstract ideas of systems theory into tools for better understanding of economic and organizational change. He studies decentralizing the role of leadership in organizations so as to enhance the ability of employees to work productively toward common goals, and the managerial and institutional changes needed to build more sustainable enterprises—those businesses that foster social and natural as well as economic well-being. Senge’s work articulates a cornerstone position of human values in the workplace: namely, that vision, purpose, reflectiveness, and systems thinking are essential if organizations are to realize their potential. He has worked with leaders in business, education, civil society, healthcare, and government. Senge is the founding chair of the Society for Organizational Learning (SoL), a global community of corporations, researchers, and consultants dedicated to the “interdependent development of people and their institutions.” He is the author of the widely acclaimed book, The Fifth Discipline: The Art and Practice of The Learning Organization (1990). With colleagues Charlotte Roberts, Rick Ross, Bryan Smith, and Art Kleiner, he is the co-author of The Fifth Discipline Fieldbook: Strategies and Tools for Building a Learning Organization (1994) and a second fieldbook The Dance of Change: The Challenges to Sustaining Momentum in Learning Organizations (March 1999), co-authored by George Roth. In September 2000, Senge co-authored a fieldbook on education, the award-winning Schools That Learn: A Fifth Discipline Fieldbook for Educators, Parents, and Everyone Who Cares About Education (2000). The Fifth Discipline hit a nerve within the business and education communities by introducing the theory of learning organizations. Since its publication, more than one million copies have been sold worldwide. In 1997, Harvard Business Review identified it as one of the seminal management books of the past 75 years. The Fifth Discipline Fieldbook was developed in response to questions from readers of The Fifth Discipline who wanted more help with tools, methods, and practical experiences in developing enhanced learning capabilities within their own companies. The Dance of Change is based on more recent experiences of companies developing learning capabilities over many years, and the strategies leaders develop to deal with the many challenges this work entails. He also has authored many articles published in both academic journals and the business press on systems thinking in management, and has co-authored Presence: Human Purpose and the Field of the Future. Senge holds a BS in engineering from Stanford University as well as an SM in social systems modeling and a PhD in management from MIT. #DESCRIPTION Peter Senge provides an overview of his fifth discipline which is systems thinking, relating it to the ability to see the consequences of our actions, in addition to seeing the web of inter-connectedness in any situation. Digital Leadership vs Digital Transformation | Nelson Phillips | TEDxHessle

14:26
We need to get as good at digital leadership as we are at creating and applying digital technology. If our new, digitally enabled world is going to be a better place than the analogue one we are leaving then we can’t focus on technology and ignore the humans. Digital transformation is about fundamental changes needed in our organisations where we work, the society where we live, and, perhaps less obviously, in the nature of the leaders and leadership we need. Professor Phillips is currently the co-editor with Markus Perkmann of Innovation: Organisation and Management. He is currently the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Management Inquiry, Editor-in-Chief of Innovation: Organisation & Management, and the Editor of the Cambridge Elements Series in Organisational Theory. He was formerly a senior editor at Organisation Studies.. He was also the chair of the OMT Division Executive Committee of the Academy of Management in 2016. Professor Phillips teaches courses in strategy, organisation behaviour, innovation, and leadership at the undergraduate and graduate level. In addition, he is very active in executive education where he has been involved in programme design and delivery for a wide range of clients. He has published more than 100 academic articles and book chapters. He has also written four books and is currently working on a book on the use of linguistic research methods in management. Successful Program Management: Complexity Theory, Communication, and Leadership

10:00
Complexity theory - which teaches that total order does not allow for enough flexibility - has become a new area of potential in the field of management. Not surprisingly, program management (which emphasizes rules and hierarchy) has tended to be resistant to these concepts. As a result, there is very little material that would help practicing program managers in the area of leveraging complex communications. In this webinar, Wanda and Robert will address this problem and share with you practical tips on how to use complexity theory to manage and lead the communication effort on programs. How can we create a culture of innovation? by Peter Senge, Author of The Fifth Discipline

04:17
#DESCRIPTION Peter Senge starts off by defining innovation and then points to the management guru, Peter Drucker, for an understanding of innovation and the processes that need to happen to foster creativity. What is PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION? What does PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION mean?

02:30
What is PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION? What does PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION mean? PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION meaning - PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION definition - PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION explanation. Source: Wikipedia.org article, adapted under https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/ license. Public administration is the implementation of government policy and also an academic discipline that studies this implementation and prepares civil servants for working in the public service. As a "field of inquiry with a diverse scope" its "fundamental goal... is to advance management and policies so that government can function." Some of the various definitions which have been offered for the term are: "the management of public programs"; the "translation of politics into the reality that citizens see every day"; and "the study of government decision making, the analysis of the policies themselves, the various inputs that have produced them, and the inputs necessary to produce alternative policies." Public administration is "centrally concerned with the organization of government policies and programmes as well as the behavior of officials (usually non-elected) formally responsible for their conduct" Many unelected public servants can be considered to be public administrators, including heads of city, county, regional, state and federal departments such as municipal budget directors, human resources (H.R.) administrators, city managers, census managers, state mental health directors, and cabinet secretaries. Public administrators are public servants working in public departments and agencies, at all levels of government. In the US, civil servants and academics such as Woodrow Wilson promoted American civil service reform in the 1880s, moving public administration into academia. However, "until the mid-20th century and the dissemination of the German sociologist Max Weber's theory of bureaucracy" there was not "much interest in a theory of public administration." The field is multidisciplinary in character; one of the various proposals for public administration's sub-fields sets out six pillars, including human resources, organizational theory, policy analysis and statistics, budgeting, and ethics.
