Best Short-Term Investment Options (for high return 🚀)

08:28
⁉️ Does this sound familiar: You've got some money sitting around in cash and you want to invest it and make a decent return. BUT 💭 you don't want to tie up your money too long 💭 you don't want to lose it Are there opportunities that even exist in today's low interest environment for short-term investing? There are a ton of you that are in this same situation with money sitting in cash- but you don't know what you options are. Today I am going to talk about this very topic in response to a reader question I received. 💻 My reader, Tien asked "What is the best thing to do with my money for short-term grown when I still want accessibility?" I offered a few tips for Tien: ✳️ Even with low interest rates, keep enough in savings for emergencies ✳️ Don't be tempted by short-term growth ✳️ Peer-to-peer lending is not a short-term investment ✳️ Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) - They are low cost and offer a variety of options. Keep an emphasis on short-term bond ETFs in the 1-3 year range. You can get all the detailed information on each of these options in the video. 😉 ➡️ You can start your Betterment account here: https://www.goodfinancialcents.com/resources/betterment-youtube-invest-10k.php ★☆★ Want More Good Financial Cents? ★☆★ 💻 Check out my blog here: https://www.goodfinancialcents.com/ Listen to my podcast here: 🎙 https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/good-financial-cents-podcast-investing-building-wealth/id775107294?mt=2 Pick up my best selling book, Soldier of Finance, here: 📗 http://amzn.to/2xOH78V Connect with me on Twitter: https://twitter.com/jjeffrose My most favorite inspiration T-shirt line, Compete Every Day: 👕 https://www.goodfinancialcents.com/compete

क्या HIGH RISK मतलब HIGH RETURN - Mutual Fund में RISK कैसे Calculate करें

15:34
There is a very common perception that high risk mean high return. Normally it is used in stock and mutual fund investments. The conclusion of the investors is that More you put your investment on Risk, Higher returns you can generate. In my opinion, it is not correct to conclude that high risk mean high return in stock or mutual fund investments. The main objective of the investor should be to maximize return by taking the minimum or medium risk. In this video, i will try to explain how to calculate risk index and how to select mutual fund scheme based on risk index. The 2 key parameters are the probability of loss and corresponding quantum of loss in %. To calculate the probability of loss, you should consider the time horizon of investment. On the other hand, the quantum of loss is net return over your investment horizon. In the case of profit, consider it to be negative as we are calculating loss. Risk Tolerance - Part 2 (Calculation)

07:06
ZACH DE GREGORIO, CPA www.WolvesAndFinance.com This video walks through sample calculations to illustrate risk tolerance. This involves calculating out different scenarios to see the impact on your savings. The first example looks at savings rate, and payback period to recover from lost investment. The next examples look at investments and how much money is at risk. An important concept is that these examples are based on your assumptions which creates variance in the outcomes. The key point is to be aware of the riskiness of your investments, then assess the riskiness against the strength of your financial position to see if the investment makes sense. Neither Zach De Gregorio or Wolves and Finance Inc. shall be liable for any damages related to information in this video. It is recommended you contact a CPA in your area for business advice.

How to Calculate Risk to Reward in Trading: Real Life Examples

03:12
For free trading videos, go to http://tradingmastermind.com/forex-chart-reading-training-3/ Before ever entering a trade using any real money in a live investment account, you will want to be very familiar with how to calculate risk to reward in trading Forex, stocks, commodities, or any other market. To understand your risk you first need to know how to read financial markets in order to know why you would enter a trade and where you expect the market to go after identifying a key turning point or direction for the market. When you enter a trade there should be a price determined in advance using basic technical analysis that would invalidate your trade proving that it was not a good decision should that happen. Every trade has a risk of loss even though it is possible to develop a high degree of skill in determining the right time and reason for entering a trade. To calculate potential reward you also need to have a sound understanding of how to read financial markets and determine if a trade is good, how far will the price go before turning and how to know whether it is turning. Most traders don't know where the price will go and whether it is turning or retracing in the same path before continuing in the same direction. These skills are critical for determining risk to reward for each trade.

21. Warren Buffett Intrinsic Value Calculation - Rule 4

36:15
Learn more about Preston’s Intrinsic Value Course that teaches you step-by-step how to calculate the intrinsic value of a stock in 18 exclusive videos: https://www.theinvestorspodcast.com/product/intrinsic-value-course/ Preston Pysh is the #1 selling Amazon author of two books on Warren Buffett. The books can be found at the following location: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0982967624/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=0982967624&linkCode=as2&tag=pypull-20&linkId=EOHYVY7DPUCW3WD4 http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1939370159/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=1939370159&linkCode=as2&tag=pypull-20&linkId=XRE5CA2QJ3I2OWSW Use the intrinsic Value Calculator at: http://www.buffettsbooks.com/intelligent-investor/stocks/intrinsic-value-calculator.html In this lesson, students learned that the intrinsic value can be defined as the discounted value of the cash that can be taken out of a business during it's remaining life. For us, we've defined the life as the next ten years. This way, we can discount that cash by the 10 year federal note. The Cash that we are taking out of the business is simply the dividends and the book value growth during the next 10 years. Since these numbers need to be estimated, it's very important to ensure that Warren Buffett's third rule (a stock must be stable and understandable) is met. When a company doesn't have a history of linear growth, estimating the cash that they will produce for the next ten years becomes more speculative. When we look at the root of the intrinsic value calculator, it operates off of the same principals as a bond calculator. Instead of using coupons, we substitute dividends. And instead of using par value (or value at maturity) we estimate the book value of the business in 10 years. The value that we use to discount the summation of the cash is simply the 10 year federal note. Although the previous paragraph might sound confusing to some, it's application is fairly straight forward. The reason Buffett says, "Two people looking at the same set of facts, will almost inevitably come up with at least slightly different intrinsic value figures," is due to a difference in opinion of the future cash flows. Since some investors are more conservative than others, their estimates of book value growth or dividend payments may be lower. This will immediately change the intrinsic value. Your job as an intelligent investor is to determine your own tolerance for risk and conservative estimates on how much money you will receive while owning the stock for a 10 year period. If you ever have difficulty understanding the material, simply click on the link for the forum above. Be sure to sign-up for an account and ask any questions you might have. Just because you didn't understand something in this lesson, doesn't mean you have to simply give up on the process. If you would like to learn more about how this calculator works, be sure to read this article published by Preston: It is here: http://ezinearticles.com/?How-to-Calculate-the-Intrinsic-Value-of-Stocks-Like-Warren-Buffett&id=7262028

Introduction to Beta in Corporate Finance

08:27
This video shows what beta is in the context of Corporate Finance. Beta is the percentage change in an asset's return, given a 1% change in the return of the market portfolio (an index such as the S&P 500 is commonly used to proxy for the market portfolio. Beta is important because it measures the amount of systematic risk an asset has. Because unsystematic risk (firm-specific risk) can be diversified away, the systematic risk of an asset is what determines the risk premium demanded by investors for holding the asset. Thus, beta can be used to calculate the cost of a firm's equity capital (for example, with the Capital Asset Pricing Model). Edspira is your source for business and financial education. Interested in property investing? Visit our website at http://www.binvested.com.au to find out more about how we can help you. Hey guys and girls it’s Nathan Birch and just talking about some basics questions to answer for people on YouTube. How do you calculate yield? What is yield? Yield is the percentage of return, or what you get as return on your property or purchase investment or any investment. SO there we are just talking about properties today. Let do some basic number, I am going to do very basic number here, so just hang with me. Since we got a property and it rent for $200 per week that times 52 weeks’ equals $10,400 That is $200 x 52 = $10,400, so that is your rate return per annum. You have your purchase prize of $100000. So $10,400 over $100000 which is just a very basic number that I have come up with, that will be 10.4% return per annum. That’s a good return Let say the purchase price was $200000 that will be 5.2% per annum. That’s so cool.
