How to Disable UEFI Secure Boot in Windows 10 64 bit and 32 bit

02:56
What is UEFI Firmware ? UEFI (Unified Extensible Firmware Interface) Secure Boot is the boot path validation component of the UEFI specification. It will store embedded validation signature code of the applications like boot loader and drivers etc. Also it will block unknown or bad certificates and application. How ever the signature only verified in the boot stage. The user can enable or disable the UEFI secure option to legacy BIOS compatibility mode with bios setting. Which means, like its older operating system as well as helps to control all the operations, for example Windows 7, XP, Linux, Ubuntu etc.. Arlo Pro 2 Review - Wireless Camera - Unboxing, Setup, Settings, Installation, Footage

17:22
I bit the bullet and purchased the Arlo Pro 2. I got the 2 camera kit which comes with a base station. I paid $455 dollars for it which boils down to $227.50 dollars per camera. This is not cheap and I have high expectations for these cameras and I expect them to deliver. Watch the video to learn another reason why we need security camera ;) Arlo Pro 2 Camera System - https://amzn.to/2JaSsW6 Let's get to the features: First off, this camera needs a base station which will be inside the house near your router and it needs to be connected to your router using the included ethernet cable. For the cameras, they are 1080p HD It has 130 degree FOV Night Vision with 850 NM LEDS that can reach up to 25 feet It has an 8 x digital zoom 2 way audio It can only connect to a 2.4 GHz WiFi and the base station to the cameras needs to be within 300 feet line of sight. The motion detection if it is in battery power uses PIR motion technology but when it is plugged in it uses video based doftware and has a 3 second preview meaning it will record 3 seconds before motion has been detected As to alerts - you can get push notifications on your phone and/or email. The cameras are weather resistant with a IP65 rating and has an operating temperature of -4 degrees to 113 degrees fahrenheit Also, it works with Amazon Alexa, Smart things and IFTTT. As to recordings, it defaults to recording to the cloud and has a free basic subscription which stores your motion detected footage for 7 days. It has other paid subscription plans ...the premier which stores footage for 30 days for 100 bucks annually and an elite plan that can store your footage for 60 days for 150 dollars per year. How to Fix Default Boot Device Missing or Boot Failed

02:27
This problem is caused by a change in the BIOS settings in the "Boot Mode" menu. In many cases, due to some reason, suddenly the BIOS settings are back in the default position. History of error in this case. Laptop; Lenovo Ideapad 310S-111AP By default the BIOS setting for "Boot Mode" is "UEFI Boot". One day, the user performs a Windows installation. He enter BIOS and then open Boot Mode setting, from UEFI Boot changes to Legacy Support or Legacy Mode. By setting "Legacy Support" user continue the install windows until finished. One day when the computer turned on, show error "Default Boot Device Missing or Boot Failed". This problem occurs because "Boot Mode" returns to the default "UEFI Boot". Cause Boot Mode changes from Legacy Support to UEFI Boot is; 1. The CMOS batray power is exhausted, so the BIOS settings are back to default. 2. The BIOS cant save the settings due to other issues, so the BIOS settings are back to default. 3. The user unintentionally changes BIOS. In this video, the error occurs because point no.3, where the user enter the BIOS and selects the restore default BIOS settings option, exit and save settings. Solution Turn on the computer, press Esc / F2 / Del / press the recovery button to enter BIOS. Find Boot Mode settings, from UEFI Boot changed to Legacy Support. Save and exit BIOS. Hopefully this information is useful for you. thanks.

Ubuntu/Linux Mint restore default settings

03:24
Hello friends welcome to TECHY SAN,this video tutorial is about how to reset your Ubuntu/Linux Mint to default. You can done it by a new Linux app,It’s called Resetter and I took it for a spin to see how well it works and whether it deserves a place in your Linux rescue toolkit. Resetter boasts that it can reset the following Ubuntu and Ubuntu-based distributions back to their stock appeal Ubuntu 16.10 Ubuntu 16.04 Ubuntu 14.04 Linux Mint 18.1 Linux Mint 18 Linux Mint 17.3 Resetter can reset Ubuntu (or Linux Mint) n one of two ways: using an ‘Automatic’ option that tries to take care of everything, even deleting user accounts; or via a ‘Custom Reset’ option which lets double-check and decide what (and who) goes and what stays. You can download this linux app here https://github.com/gaining/Resetter

Virtual Hard Disk Demonstration

16:03
This video will look at how to create virtual hard disks on Windows Server 2012 R2 using the VHD and VHDX format. The video will also look at how to convert between the different formats. The principles used in this video also apply to client operating system. Access the rest of the course http://ITFreeTraining.com/server Download the PDF: http://ITFreeTraining.com/handouts/server/virtualhddemo.pdf Demonstration creating virtual disks in Disk Management 1) To create and manage virtual disks this can be done with “Disk Management”. “Disk Management” can be opened by right clicking on the start menu and selecting the option “Disk Management”. 2) To create a new VHD, open the action menu and then select the option “Create VHD”. 3) To create a new virtual hard disk, enter in the location you want to create the virtual hard disk at the top of the screen. 4) Under the location select the size of the virtual hard disk that you want to create. If you create a virtual hard disk using the VHD format then the largest virtual hard disk you can create is 2040 Gigabytes. If you use the VHDX format you can create a virtual hard disk that is up to 64 Terabytes in size. The VHDX format is only supported on Windows Server 2012 and Windows 8 and above. The VHDX format offers additional performance features as well as transaction logging. 5) In the middle of the screen select the format you want to use to create the virtual machine. Either VHD or VHDX. 6) At the bottom you can choose if the virtual hard disk is fixed in size or dynamically expanding. The size of the dynamically expanding virtual disk will be same as the amount of data stored on the virtual disk. The fixed option creates a file the same size as the virtual disk. This makes performance of the virtual disk faster, however it does mean that more disk space will be used. 7) Once a virtual disk is created it will automatically be mounted and thus will appear in disk management. The icon used in disk management will be blue to indicate that it is a virtual disk. The icon used for physical hard disks will be grey. If the computer is restarted the virtual hard disk will need to be mounted again. If you want the virtual disk to be automatically mounted during start up, a script will need to created and run at start up to mount the virtual disk. 8) Like a newly installed physical hard disk with data on it, the virtual hard disk will need to be initialized before it can be used. To do this, right click on the virtual hard disk and select the option “Initialize Disk”. In this case MBR will be used, however you could use GPT as well if the hardware that you were planning to use the virtual disk on supported GPT. 9) Once the disk has been initialized it will be able to be formatted. To do this, right click on the virtual disk and select the option “New Simple Volume”. You are free to choose your own options, however in this case all the defaults were used. This will create a drive using all the free space and format it with NTFS. Demonstration creating virtual disks using PowerShell 1) To open PowerShell, press the PowerShell icon in the quick launch bar. 2) If you run the command convert-vhd in PowerShell you will get an error message saying the Hyper-V role needs to be installed. To install Hyper-V, assuming the server meets the requirements, open Server Manager and select the option on the welcome screen “Add roles and features” and then from the wizard accept all the defaults except for ticking the role “Hyper-V” on the “Select server roles” screen. Part of the install will install the module “Hyper-V Module for Windows PowerShell” which is what you need to run the PowerShell commands. Unfortunately the whole Hyper-V role needs to be installed in order for the PowerShell commands to work. If you are not able to install Hyper-V on the server, it is also possible to run these PowerShell commands on Windows clients like Windows 8 assuming the Hyper-V role is installed on those clients. The server or client will need to be restarted after the install. 3) To convert a VHD file from one format to another use the PowerShell command Convert-VHD –Path (Source) –DestinationPath (Dest). e.g. Convert-VHD –Path c:\DataDrive.vhd –DestinationPath c:\DataDrive.vhdx Description too long for YouTube. Please see the following link for the rest of the description: http://itfreetraining.com/server#/virtualhddemo See http://YouTube.com/ITFreeTraining or http://itfreetraining.com for our always free training videos. This is only one video from the many free courses available on YouTube. Using Zoom with scroll gestures. Being able to Zoom in and out on anything on your display is a relatively easy process, requiring using the combination of modifier keys and scrolling gestures on either the magic mouse or trackpad. Straight to a demo…Soooooo, Let's Get Started To enable Zoom with scroll gestures on the Mac, you will first need to activate it by pressing the following modifier keys simultaneously, Option-Command-F5, which will launch the pop-up Accessibility Options Window. Now; simply select Enable Zoom using scroll gestures by checking the box here. We’ll get to changing the default modifier key and size of the zoom loupe window in just a moment, for now, just press the Done button to use the defaults. Once Zoom with scroll gestures has been activated, you now have two options available to turn it on or off. One is pressing the Control key and the other is, pressing the Control-Option keys. Option 1: Using the Control key with scroll gestures: Hold down the Control key for a permanent zoom window by scrolling upwards or downwards with one finger on the mouse or two fingers on the trackpad, to zoom in or out respectively. Once activated, you can let go the Control key and pan around the screen using your mouse or trackpad. Anytime you need to zoom in or out, hold down the Control key again. The zoom window does not disappear until you have zoomed out completely while holding down the Control key. Option 2: Using the Control-Option keys with scroll gestures: Hold down Control-Option keys for a temporary zoom window, by scrolling downwards or upwards with one finger on the mouse and two fingers on the trackpad to zoom in or out respectively. Anytime the Control-Option keys is released, the zoom window disappears. As shown, the default modifier key to turn on Zoom is the Control key, to change it with another modifier key, launch the accessibility options window by pressing Option-Command-F5 keys as before and click on the “Preferences…” button here. From the drop down list shown here, you have the option to select another modifier key to activate zoom. While on the Preferences window, make sure the picture-in-picture is selected in order to display a rectangular zoom loupe on the display. Unfortunately only a rectangular loupe is available. To have the Zoom follow the keyboard focus, check the box shown here. Furthermore; to change the loupe size and also to make sure the temporary zoom option is selected, click the “More options…” button here. Check the box here, if it’s not already selected, to activate the temporary zoom option when pressing the Control and Option key simultaneously. Finally; click the “Adjust Size and Location” to change the zoom loupe size and click the Done button when finished.

Best GoPro HERO5 Session Settings for Steady & High Quality Video

03:42
After 3 months with the GoPro Hero5 Session, here are the best settings for stable and high-quality video in most scenarios (text of settings below too). UPDATE: I've stopped filming in 2.7K altogether. I don't see the point as barely anyone has 2.7K/4K monitors. I've dropped down to 1080P and increased the frame rate to 60FPS for very fluid videos - it looks great. The rest of the settings remain the same. The main benefit of 2.7K for me is to cropped into the picture when editing a 1080P video. You have that option to zoom into the image and create a new frame - but I barely do this anyway. Filming in 2.7K will also future proof your videos so when everyone does have 4K monitors your videos will look great, it's up to you if you care about that or not. Also, if shooting at 60FPS turn auto low light on - it'll reduce the frame rate to 30 to let more light in and give you a brighter image if filming in dark places. SUBSCRIBE! https://www.youtube.com/c/KarlRock/?sub_confirmation=1 VIDEO SETTINGS Resolution: 2.7K (4K does NOT support video stabilisation or Linear) Frames Per Second: 30 (Drop down the resolution down to 1080P if you want to film some slow-motion shots) Field Of View: Linear Video Stabilisation: On Spot Meter: Off PROTUNE SETTINGS Protune: On White Balance: Auto Color: GoPro Color Shutter: Auto ISO Limit: 800 EV Comp: 0.0 Sharpness: High SETUP Auto-Rotation: Auto Default Mode: Video LED Blink: Off Beeps: High Video Format: NTSC 👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇 1) SUBSCRIBE! ✔ Click https://www.youtube.com/c/KarlRock/?sub_confirmation=1 Then smash the BELL ICON so you don't miss a 🔴live stream or video. 2) TRAVELLING TO INDIA🇮🇳? Massachusetts State Law requires drivers in driver mode to always display 2 Lyft emblems — one on your front windshield and one on your rear windshield. Failure to display front and rear trade dress emblems (on the passenger side of the vehicle) may result in citations and fines! When using a rental, Lyft’s Rental Rewards Program can help reduce your weekly costs. Refer to your app's 'Driver Stats' screen or your Driver Dashboard for Boston's requirements. Remember, you'll still be charged any applicable state taxes and personal mileage ($0.25/mile). You can be eligible for Average Hourly Guarantees as long as you meet the requirements outlined in your Driver Dashboard. You'll also have access to Accelerate Rewards - offering drivers with exclusive perks and discounts. The Power Driver Bonus and Express Pay are NOT available when driving a rental car. In Massachusetts, the rental period defaults to 28 days. Notifications will be sent out around the 25th day to remind you it is almost time to return the vehicle. To renew the vehicle: - Log in to your driver dashboard at lyft.com/login - Go to “Vehicles & Docs” - Click "Renew" below your rental vehicle Renewals are only offered within 3 days of the expiration and after the first 28 days. If you miss the 3 day window, you will not be able to renew and the vehicle must be returned. After the 2nd cycle, vehicles must be returned or swapped. All of the information you need will be sent to you at that time. All General Motors rental vehicles come equipped with OnStar. When your app is on in driver mode and you’re in the coverage area, General Motors will count miles as “in-app”. When you’re not on the app, they will count miles as “personal use”. You will receive an itemized mileage bill with your weekly pay statement. Miles driven while in Destination Mode count as personal miles. Every driver only receives one key to the vehicle and are expensive to replace. They can cost up to $350.00 and take generally at least three days to replace - that's three days you won't be able to drive the vehicle. The vehicle is completely outfitted as part of your rental. All items must be returned at the end of the rental term to avoid replacement charges (noted below). A standard Lyft week starts Monday at 5am and ends the following Monday at 4:59am. You must complete the ride and acceptance requirements before the week closes to qualify for Rental Rewards. You can track your progress in the Lyft app's 'Driver Stats' screen or on your Driver Dashboard. Rental fees will be deducted from your weekly earnings or charged to the credit card on file. If Lyft is unable to collect payment for the vehicle, your driver account will be deactivated until all outstanding charges are successfully paid or the vehicle is returned. Please note: If you have an outstanding balance, we will not be able to honor the $100 ride credit at return and you will need to arrange alternate transportation. THIS IS NOT A FREE RENTAL! You are still responsible for all rental fees while the vehicle is in your possession. This includes any time your account may be deactivated due to nonpayment of rental fees, accidents, or if you fail to meet the weekly Rental Rewards requirements. Please review your rental agreement for detailed information regarding any additional charges that may apply. Mount Everest as a backdrop to Rongbuk Monastery

01:04
Rongbuk Monastery also known as Dzarongpu or Dzarong is a Tibetan Buddhist monastery in Nyingma, Basum, Tibet. It is an important pilgrimage site of the sherpas which can be accessed in a few days travel across the Himalaya through the Nangpa La. Rongbuk monastery lies near the base of the north side of Mount Everest at 4,980 metres (16,340 ft) above sea level, at the end of the Dzakar Chu valley. The monastery was also regularly visited by the early expeditions to Mount Everest in the 1920s and 1930s after a five weeks journey from Darjeeling in the Indian foothills of the Himalaya. Most past and current expeditions attempting Mount Everst from the north Tibetan side do establish their Base Camp near the tongue of the Rongbuk Glacier about 8 kilometres (5.0 mi) south of the Monastery. Nowadays, the monastery is accessible by road in a two to three hour drive from the Friendship Highway from either Shelkar (New Tingri) or Old Tingri. From Rongbuk monastery, there are dramatic views on the north face of Mount Everest, and one of the first British explorers to see it, John Noel, described it: "Some colossal architect, who built with peaks and valleys, seemed here to have wrought a dramatic prodigy—a hall of grandeur that led to the mountain." The climatic conditions in the Sagarmatha region change without prior signs. The team gears up for the summit attempts as the weather clears up and the men set out for the top. There is no time to waste, it's a now or never situation as the teams climbing permit expires by the end of the month may 2001. Indian Army added another feather to its cap in May 2001, when its mountaineers successfully scaled Mount Everest and put a record eight members and seven Sherpas on the summit. This is the largest number of summiteers on Mount Everest in an Indian expedition. The mighty mountain ranges of the Himalayas have, over the centuries, inspired not only man's imagination and spiritual quest, but also his spirit of adventure. Mount Everest, the tallest of the peaks of the Himalayas as also the whole world, stood in its unattainable isolation for thousands of years, till Tenzing Norgay and Edmund Hillary conquered it in 1953. Since then, at least a thousand climbers have set foot on it. That at least 200 have lost their lives while trying to scale the peak speaks of the infinite dangers involved in the task. The Indian Army Mount Everest Expedition was flagged off by the Chief of the Army Staff on 1st March 2001 at New Delhi. It was led by Col. Krishan Kumar. After flagging off, the team moved to Nepal and after a long trek from Jiri, reached Base Camp of Everest on 3rd April 2001. The stocking and establishment of various camps was completed by 10th May 2001 and summit attempts were planned for 14-15 May. However, bad weather forced the team to return to Base Camp from Camp-II. Weather remained bad for a few days. Finally on 19th May the team started from the Base Camp for their final attempt to reach the summit. On 20th May the first summit team reached Camp-HI and the next day they reached South Col around 1300 hours. The same night the summit attempt started. After making their way through severe winds and subfreezing conditions, the first party consisting of seven members and three Sherpas finally reached the summit of Everest on 23rd May between 0720 hours and 0845 hours. The second team comprising one member and four Sherpas left Camp-Ill around 0630 hours on 23rd May and reached the summit of Mount Everest around 0545 hours on 24th May 2001. Smooth de-induction to the Base Camp was subsequently carried out wherein all the camps were closed. In keeping with the Indian Army's care and concern for the protection of the environment, all waste was brought down from the mountain.
