Managing Change: Using Analytics to Optimize Supply Chain Management Performance
In a fast-paced, highly competitive and global economy, organizations that manufacture can't afford lackluster performance. They need to be able to respond to change in customer and supplier demands while juggling operational efficiency without sacrificing quality. When the economy is as turbulent as it is, cost control, efficiency and agility are paramount. Organizations have invested millions in ERP systems and supporting applications to help them improve the transactional performance of their increasingly complex and global supply chain. But these systems don't deliver the true supply chain visibility and analytics that managers need. The business value of supply chain analytics is simple: it helps you understand your company's performance. It leads you to take action on recent information and creates a common context for decision-making across every department and at every level. It provides the insight your organization needs to optimize the supply chain, so you can anticipate problems before they happen, understand the reasons behind results and improve performance.

S2CT AI Cloud Global Supply Chain Management Solutions
http://www.S2CT.tech http://www.SmartSupplyChainTechnologies.com S2CT is focused on monitoring and managing Assets, Logistics and Inventories, end-to-end, for the Global Supply Chain. To that end, S2CT entices hardware partners to develop and manufacture S2CT compliant IoT products and devices for the global supply chain market based on their competitive advantages in that market. These IoT product and device advantages are fundamentally driven by their inherent simplicity. That simplicity is a by-product of their embedded S2CT AI software and being tightly coupled to the Cloud and even more powerful AI and Big Data when it's needed. The "power" is in the cloud where that "cost" is shared by millions of connected products and devices. These competitive advantages include significantly lower hardware cost, higher device reliability in the field, flexible and powerful Cloud-Served functionality, and the availability of rich Cloud services from the open-ended number of Cloud Service Providers that the S2CT platform enables. Supply Chain System developed, built and operated by us will be driven by S2CT Deep Learning AI distributed across a “Hybrid” Cloud Architecture stretching from edge devices to Smart IoT devices to edge Cloud servers communicating with the Global Cloud. Each of these successive communications layers increases in the power and sophistication of the AI they make available to the underlying solutions. The Supply Chain System will be composed of Cloud-AI-assisted, Asset, Logistics and Real-time Inventory, Monitoring and Management components. These underlying components will extensively exploit Cloud Computing, AI, Blockchain and Trade Data Sharing to enrich the real-time services that the client will utilize and offer its customers, while simultaneously maximizing their cost-effectiveness. All seamlessly integrated into client’s current systems. Using a simple US$25 S2CT AI enabled Cloud Cable, a “Smart-Wire” that connects to the Cloud when it needs to, onto a cargo container before it departs on its supply chain journey make it easy for the client to predict the conditions, locations and times of a cargo as well as the to save and extend battery life, all based on “real-time data”.
Supply Chain Management and Gain Sharing(Batch 2018)-CA Final Costing NC Revision
The Global Supply Chain Forum: A supply chain is a network of facilities and distribution options that performs the functions of procurement of materials, Supply Chain Management is the integration of key business processes from end user through original suppliers that provides products, services, and information that add value for customers and other stakeholders. The Forum members identified eight key processes that need to be implemented within and across firms in the supply chain: Customer Relationship Management Customer Service Management Demand Management Order Fulfillment Manufacturing Flow Management Supplier Relationship Management Product Development and Commercialization Return Management Push and pull supply chain models Upstream SCM The key activities of upstream SCM are procurement and upstream logistics. E-procurement E-sourcing covers electronic methods for finding new suppliers and establishing contracts. E-purchasing covers product selection and ordering. E-payment includes tools such as electronic invoicing and electronic funds transfers. Downstream SCM Downstream supply change management is about managing relationships with both customers and consumers, as well as any other intermediaries along the way. Relationship Marketing Marketing plays a vital role to successfully handle the downstream supply chain management. The Relationship marketing helps the organization to keep existing customer and to attract new customers through helpful staff, quality service / product, appropriate prices and proper customer care etc. Six Markets Model identifies the six key “market domain” where organizations may consider directing their marketing activities. 1. Customer Market 2. Influence Market 3. Referral Market 4. Supplier Market 5. Employee/Recruitment Market 6. Internal Market Customer relationship management The objective of customer relationship management (CRM) is to increase customer loyalty in order to increase profitability and is thus a key aspect of e-business. Definitions CRM is an approach to building and sustaining long-term business with customers. Analysis of Customers and their Behaviour Customers Account Profitability (CAP) The customer lifecycle Brand Strategy Specially branding of product makes a huge difference in its appeal to customers. Branding can be usage of logo or specific colour or any other means which makes the product or service distinctively visible among others. Service Level Agreements (SLA) An agreement between the customer and service provider is termed as a service-level agreement. This can be a legally binding formal or an informal "contract". The agreement may be between separate organisation or within different teams of the organisation. SLAs commonly include many components, from a definition of services to the termination of agreement. To ensure that SLAs are consistently met, agreements are often designed with specific lines of differentiation and the parties involved are required to meet regularly to create an open forum for communication. Providers rewards and penalties are specified. There is always place left for revisiting in most SLA. Gain sharing is an approach to the review and adjustment of an existing contract, or series of contracts, where the adjustment provides benefits to both parties. A fundamental form of gainsharing is where a supplier agrees to perform its side of the contract with no guarantee of receiving a payment. Instead, any payment received is based upon the benefits that emerge to the customer as a result of the successful completion of the supplier’s side of the bargain. This is clearly a risky stance for the supplier, because it could spend a fortune and walk away with nothing. Alternatively, if the benefits to the customer are substantial, the supplier could find itself rewarded with a large return. In this situation, the supplier could almost be described as taking an equity stake in the customer rather than entering into a contract with it. There must be no rewards for the suppliers to achieve a higher return through adversarial behaviour or by hiding behind the contract. Gain-sharing deals are, on the face of it, a win-win situation for suppliers and their customers.
