The Jimmy Butler trade to the 76ers was cool. With Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons, Jimmy Butler makes the 76ers elite, but what he did was make them an NBA dynasty. The ALLDAY Collection: https://www.mjallday.com/
Jimmy Butler to the 76ers happened, but it isn’t what the Sixers currently have that should scare the league, it’s the future.

You know after you curse out your teammates, ask for a trade, yell at the owner that you bleeping need me, I don’t think anyone is surprised that Jimmy Butler was traded, but the fact that he was traded to the 76ers was what blew everyone away. While everyone is drooling at what they could be right now, the 76ers could get way better in the future. Let me explain, but first if you’re new I’d appreciate if you would subscribe for the fire content. Hit that like for faster uploads. Let’s aim for the amount times Butler is gonna yell at Fultz for his shot, 3248. And also follow me on the gram cause I’m about to post more content there too. Now let’s get into this.
Jimmy Butler joins the young Ben Simmons, super star in Joel Embiid, and Markelle Fultz. Butler seems like the perfect fit, but then again Jimmy Butler is a fit everywhere. What is great is that if you could upgrade Towns, you would get Embiid and if you needed a guy to play with both Butler and Embiid, you would get Simmons who shows more effort than Wiggins ever did. Butler will be that guy that will push both of them to newer heights and it looks like Embiid and Simmons will take on Butlers tough personality pretty well and respond with more work. Markelle Fultz on the other hand, I don’t think criticism about his shot would be taken well. But there are rumors of trading Markelle Fultz. Losing Covington and Saric is definitely a hit, but Butler is also a savvy veteran that has great playoff experience and is better than both of these pieces.
Now the future for the 76ers is gonna be with Embiid and Simmons, but it depends on Jimmy resigning or taking a contract extension this summer. Jimmy is most likely going to resign with the Sixers, these types of trades don’t happen without the disgruntled star liking where he’s going and giving the franchise some sort of I’m most likely gonna sign with you, type of verbal agreement. But even if he hasn’t there’s one reason Jimmy has incentive to stay besides the supermax the Sixers could offer him and that is free agency. The 2019 NBA free agency is about to be wild with free agents like Kevin Durant, Kawhi, Kyrie, Klay, DeMarcus, Kris Middleton, Eric Bledsoe, Kemba Walker, and Al Horford. And the 76ers are primed to take advantage. Even if they were to extend Jimmy Butler’s contract, the 76ers would have $21 million dollars in cap space and a lot of people haven’t realized that. If they trade Markelle Fultz away, then they would be close to being able to offer a max contract to a free agent. Jimmy is 29 and with would be 35 at the end of this extended contract, meaning he would have 3 or 4 years of playing at a high level, playing with Joel Embiid who’s locked in for another 5 years who at 24 years old right now who would also enter his prime and Ben Simmons who would be a restricted free agent in 2020 and at 22 right now would be oh so close, but still a star. That’s an unprecedented big three right there and there ain’t many teams that could matchup with that. Adding one more guy with a $21 million dollar cap could make this team the best team in the NBA talent wise for future years. Adding a guy like Kris Middleton or Kemba Walker would make this team over the top and that would be in place for years. What the 76ers have done with this trade and especially if they resign Jimmy is set the 76ers up for the next 5 years to not only be a title contender but continuously add pieces in the process. Trust the process right? Well this team has built through the draft and now added a veteran star. While it may not exactly look like it, this is what the Warriors did when they added Andre Iguodala to a young Warriors core except the Warriors weren’t already this good when they added Iguodala and Iguodala was not as good when he came to the Warriors as Jimmy Butler is now. And the scary thing is that this team in intended to stay in tact for 5 years. Not only that, but they are poised to add another all-star caliber player. They still will have Markelle Fultz and TJ McConnell and space to get specific key veterans, but their core is set for years. The only other teams I could see that is like this are the Celtics and Nuggets. Reigns are not meant to last forever and the Warriors will eventually fade. The question is, which team will take over? But what do you think? How good do you think the 76ers will be? Who won the trade?
