Banking Explained – Money and Credit
Banks are a riddle wrapped up in an enigma. We all kind of know that they do stuff with money we don’t understand, while the last crisis left a feeling of deep mistrust and confusion. We try to shed a bit of light onto the banking system. Why were banks invented, why did they cause the last crisis and are there alternatives? Why Do Credit Crunches Keep Crushing The Little People? | The Exchange | Real Vision™
Does prolonged misallocation eventually distort the moral and social fiber of political systems? In this third and final installment of their “Exchange” series, Grant Williams, Simon Mikhailovich and Dan Oliver tackle this controversial but compelling topic, drawing on historical anecdotes to make some uncomfortable comparisons with past periods of profligacy and excess. And I think, again, looking back at history, there's some good lessons we can draw. The very first, as I mentioned earlier, credit collapse that history records in detail is the Athenian credit collapse of 594 BC that Aristotle talks about, other people. What happened there I think is very instructive for us. And that is imagine, hypothetically, an economy with 100 drachmas. And the Nobles have them all. That's why they're the Nobles. And they lend them to the peasants at 10% interest. A year later, the peasants owe the Nobles 110 drachmas. Where do the 10 come from to pay the interest? Before the coin arrived in Athens, it would be grain loans. So you'd lend people actually things that produce of themselves. I give you seeds, and then you plant them and you get more back. And so interest wasn't a problem. But you can't pay interest with coins. And this is why Aristotle said that usury, the taking of interest on money, was contrary to nature because the coins could not themselves reproduce, self-reproduce. Now, if you talk about usury in the prohibition, you're considered an economic primitive in a sort of way in the Middle Ages. But I have not yet seen the simple arithmetic of how the peasants can pay back the 110 when there are only 100 in the economy. The modern answer to this problem, remember, is to print up the extra 10. That's what the Fed does. If the people owe the banks more than they have, they print the money up and give it to the banks, which makes no sense to the people who owe the money. And this is why there is QE for the people in this sort of proposal, which, again, has a logic to it, which is that the little people, the middle class, is head over heels in debt to the oligarchs, the people who live in New York, ultimately. And again, it's not just Athens. It's not just here. But Caesar came to power promising to get rid of interest payments. Robespierre talked about it. So when you look at the rise of great populist movements, whether it's Italy with Mussolini, or in this country, or in antiquity, it usually centers around the great credit collapse, where the little people are sunk under their debts, they can't pay their debts, and some strongman arrives and says, I will bail you out.

Money and Finance: Crash Course Economics #11
So, we've been putting off a kind of basic question here. What is money? What is currency? How are the two different. Well, not to give away too much, but money has a few basic functions. It acts as a store of value, a medium of exchange, and as a unit of account. Money isn't just bills and coins. It can be anything that meets these three criteria. In US prisons, apparently, pouches of Mackerel are currency. Yes, mackerel the fish. Paper and coins work as money because they're backed by the government, which is an advantage over mackerel. So, once you've got money, you need finance. We'll talk about borrowing, lending, interest, and stocks and bonds. Also, this episode features a giant zucchini, which Adriene grew in her garden. So that's cool. KB Vision - The World's First Private Global Currency Exchange System.
http://kbvisiondirect.com The history of currency indicates that the greatest danger to the value of money is the State. This danger is particularly evident in state controlled paper money systems, in which money can be printed in arbitrary amounts and placed into circulation at any given time. In 1971 the ability to exchange currency into gold was removed by government decree and ever since then, money has been printed by central banks unsupported by any means except by that of credit. There have been no reserves to support the amount of money in circulation. Paper money which is printed and distributed in this manner is prone to inflation and may result in one economic or financial crisis after the other. Attempts to soften such economic downturns by means of unsubstantiated credit have visibly resulted in the worsening of the situation. As levels of debt from the private sector and States continue to grow, this creates a situation of debt overload, whereby the printing of excessive paper money is considered the lesser of two evils. Ultimately, this will lead to hyperinflation. On some occasion, the public perceives such economic crises bolstered by government assisted funds as failure of the free market system. Implementations of economic restraints coupled with restrictions to civil liberties are seen to be the solutions. This is a misguided path. It has become evident that the return to 'good money' is in order: the production of money which is in accordance to market forces. Money that is supported and supplied according to demand in a free enterprise system. Friedrich August von Hayek (1899-1992) has proven that the 'competition of currencies' will create money of a quality unmatched by the State. In a market based money system, paper money should not be absolute and the public should be allowed to choose what forms of exchange they wish to use. Precious metals such as gold and silver are the best means for assuming this function since availability of these metals are determined by supply. If the market was permitted to flow naturally, a freely chosen gold standard would re-emerge. What is required for such a system to work is constitutional recognition of the freedom and rights or every individual. The State does not seem to have given this much consideration. If central banks were restricted, arbitrary manipulations of money and interest rates resulting in substantial macro-economic damage would come to an end. In a market based money system, fluctuations of the economic cycle are much smaller because the system counteracts failed investments. With The State's ability to intervene reduced the restrictions of freedom and prosperity which contribute to the creation of monetary planned economies will be defused. Gold in small denominations is the first step in the right direction. By offering an alternative to paper currency, freedom of choice is restored back into a system. Our vision is to reach the masses and establish ourselves on the worldwide markets -- the road to freedom, independence, and prosperity for all. China's Credit Bubble Too Big for Their Foreign Exchange Reserves & Physical Gold to Cover?
Why has China decided to open up their financial system now by (finally) allowing up to 51% ownership allowed by foreign investors? http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-11-10/chinas-big-bang-bombshell-opens-financial-sector-foreign-ownership-why-now Jason Burack of Wall St for Main St says China is doing this because the normally opaque Chinese government desperately needs the influx of US Dollars and foreign capital. This would be the bailout before the REAL major bailout. Using other people's money (OPM) for a bailout is preferred by the Chinese before they do a major RMB devaluation in the near future. Also, given how China's current government is normally not very transparent about much of anything, it is VERY highly unusual for high ranking Chinese Communist Party officials and high ranking members of the People's Bank of China (PBOC) to give public warnings and talk about Minsky moments, credit bubbles, and unsustainable levels of debt in their financial system. Other experts like Kyle Bass, Daniel Lacalle https://mises.org/wire/crisis-or-stagnation-why-china-cannot-deleverage, and Louis Cammarosano of Smaulgld https://smaulgld.com/chinas-gold-save-debt-collapse/ just to name a few also agree that China does NOT have enough foreign exchange reserves from many years of trade surpluses and physical gold to cover their enormous credit bubble, which according to the PBOC website now stands around 220 trillion RMB ($40 trillion US Dollars) in size. What do you think China will do to handle this credit bubble? RMB devaluations? Massive bailouts? Alternatively, economic exchanges without the medium of money are referred to as barter exchanges. An economy based on barter exchange (i.e., exchange of goods for goods) is called C.C. HOW TO MAKE MONEY FAST! Still Make MILLIONS! | No Man's Sky Next Guide (See Pin)
No Man's Sky - HOW TO MAKE MONEY FAST! 100 MILLION IN 10 MINUTES! | No Man's Sky Next Guide Gameplay ►Help Me Reach 500K Subs - http://bit.ly/1Yd42D6 ►Never miss a video! Enable ‘ALL’ Notifications! ========== Game Overview: No Man's Sky is an action-adventure survival video game developed and published by the indie studio Hello Games for PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Windows. The game was released worldwide in August 2016. No Man's Sky's gameplay is built on four pillars — exploration, survival, combat, and trading. Players are free to perform within the entirety of a procedurally generated deterministic open universe, which includes over 18 quintillion (1.8×1019) planets, many with their own sets of flora and fauna. By exploring, players gain information about the planets that they can submit to the Atlas, a universal database that can be shared with other players of the game. Players get compensated in in-game currency every time new information is uploaded to The Atlas. Players also gain materials and blueprints to upgrade their character's equipment and purchase a variety of starships, allowing them to travel deeper into the center of the galaxy, survive on planets with hostile environments, interact in friendly or hostile manners with computer-controlled space-faring factions, or trade with other ships. Some activities, such as killing too many lifeforms or draining too many resources from planets, will draw the attention of patrolling robotic Sentinels that will attempt to kill the player character. Players participate in a shared universe, with the ability to exchange planet coordinates with friends, though the game is also fully playable offline; this is enabled by the procedural generation system that assures players find the same planet with the same features, lifeforms, and other aspects once given the planet coordinates, requiring no further data to be stored or retrieved from game servers. Nearly all elements of the game are procedurally generated, including star systems, planets and their ecosystems, flora, fauna and their behavioral patterns, artificial structures, and alien factions and their spacecraft. The game's engine employs several deterministic algorithms such as parameterised mathematical equations that can mimic a wide range of geometry and structure found in nature. No Man's Sky is a first-person, open world survival game. Players take the role of a planetary explorer in an uncharted universe. They start on a random planet at the edge of the universe, and are equipped with a survival spacesuit with a jetpack; a "multitool" that can be used to scan, mine and collect resources as well as to attack or defend oneself from creatures and other entities while on a planet; and a crashed spacecraft that, once repaired, allows them to land and take-off from planets and travel between them and engage in combat with other space-faring vessels. After performing enough resource collection to repair their spacecraft and leave the planet, the player is then free to engage in any of the four principal activities offered by the game: exploration, survival, combat, and trading. The player-character can collect information on the planets and the lifeforms and other features of these planets to upload to The Atlas, a galactic database as depicted in the game's cover artwork, which they are paid for with units, the in-game currency. Units are used to purchase new survival gear, tools, and spacecraft with more powerful abilities and defenses, allowing the player to explore more of the universe and survive in more hostile environments. Such upgrades can work in synergistic effects; the scanning feature of the multitool initially starts as a short-ranged directed beam, but can be upgraded to have much longer range, spanning all directions, and locating minerals and other resources buried in the ground. ========== Connect With Me Elsewhere: ★Discord Community: http://bit.ly/EntakDiscord ★Twitter: http://bit.ly/EntakTwitter ★Facebook: http://bit.ly/EntakFB Original Post: https://bit.ly/2uSQMMa Thumbnail Credit: https://bit.ly/2LPHDKM #NoMansSky #NoMansSkyHowToMakeMoney #NoMansSkyNext #NoMansSkyEasyUnits #NoMansSkyGuide

Bill of Exchange [Part-3],11th Class Account, Drawer,Drawee,Bill discount
Bill Of Exchange notes http://www.iamtopper.com/11th-accounts/bill-of-exchange-11th-class-accounts/ We know that now-a-days in business transactions on credit are on the rise. When goods are sold on credit a huge amount of capital is blocked. Then there is no certainity when the amount will be paid. A solution of the problem is giving this fact in writing in proper form so that the buyer or debtor has to pay a definite sum to the seller/creditor on demand or after the expiry of a certain period. Such a formal document duly signed by both the parties is called a Bill of Exchange. Promissory Note : According to secton 4 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881, A Promissory Note is an instrument in writing (not being a bank note or a currency note) containing an unconditional undertaking signed by the maker to pay a certain sum of money only to or to the order of a certain person. Features of a Promissory Note BILLS OF EXCHANGE – MEANING A bill of exchange is an instrument is writing containing an unconditional order signed by the maker, directing a certain person to pay a certain sum of money only to, or to the order of, a certain person, or to the bearer of the instrument
DISADVANTAGES OR PROBLEMS OF BARTER EXCHANGE SYSTEM Double Coincidence of Wants The wants of the two persons who desire to exchange goods must coincide. For example, if person A wants to acquire shoes in exchange for wheat, then he must find another person who wants wheat for shoes. 2. Absence of Common Measure of Value The absence of a common measure of value creates great problem because a lot of time is wasted to strike a bargain. Since there is no common measure in terms of which the value of a commodity can be expressed, the problem arises how much wheat should be exchanged for how many pairs of shoes. In fact, under the barter system, every good must be expressed in terms of every other good. 3. Lack of Divisibility: Another difficulty of barter system relates to the fact that all goods cannot be divided and subdivided. In the absence of a common medium of exchange, a problem arises, when a big indivisible commodity is to be exchanged for a smaller commodity. For example, if the price of a horse is equal to 10 shirts, then a person having one shirt cannot exchange it for the horse because it is not possible to divide the horse in small pieces without destroying its utility. 4. The Problem of Storing Wealth: Under a barter system, there is absence of a proper and convenient means of storing wealth or value, (a) As opposed to storing of generalized purchasing power (in the form of money) in a monetary economy, the individuals have to store specific purchasing power (in the form of horses, shoes, wheat etc.) under the barter system which may decrease in value in the due course of time due to physical deterioration or a change in tastes, (b) It is very expensive to store specific goods for a long time, (c) Again the wealth stored in the form of specific goods may create jealousy and enmity among the neighbours or relatives. 5. Difficulty of Deferred Payments: The barter system does not provide a satisfactory unit in terms of which the contracts about the deferred (future) payments are to be written. In an exchange economy, many contracts relate to future activities and future payments. Under barter system, future payments are written in terms of specific goods. 6. Problem of Transportation: Another difficulty of barter system is that goods and services cannot be transported conveniently from one place to another. For example, it is not easy and without risk for an individual to take heaps of wheat or herd of cattle to a distant market to exchange them for other goods. With the use of money, the inconveniences or risks of transportation are removed.
